We had an excellent tour this year in collaboration with Birding Abroad, a tour agency from the United Kingdom. This detailed report covers the tour conducted from 29 April to 6 May 2025, which offered numerous opportunities for birdwatching enthusiasts to explore the rich biodiversity of Southern Albania. We traversed through key habitats such as the breathtaking mountain ranges, verdant river valleys, and unique coastal wetlands. Each of these environments is home to a diverse array of bird species, and the observations during our journey highlighted the ecological importance of these areas. This report outlines our group’s route, daily summaries of bird species observed, additional wildlife sightings, and site conditions. We also included notes on cultural stops, logistical details, and insights into the local communities we encountered along the way.
