The Nature Park Kune-Vain, represents the most landscape-diverse wetland in Albania. It is one of the most interesting wetlands in the country known as a breeding site for many bird species. The area is distinguished for the presence of one of the two colonies of herons in Albania with around 1 thousand breeding pairs. It is a fantastic site for birdwatching but also for watching the Golden Jackal.
